At TerraEats, we strive to ensure your complete satisfaction with every purchase. This Return & Refund Policy outlines the terms and conditions for returning products and requesting refunds. Please read this policy carefully before making a purchase.

2. Return Policy

2.1 Eligibility for Returns

You may return products purchased from TerraEats under the following conditions:

  • Products must be returned within 7 days of delivery
  • Products must be in their original, unopened packaging
  • Products must be in the same condition as when received
  • Perishable food items are generally not returnable unless damaged or defective
  • Custom or personalized items may not be returnable

2.2 Return Process

To initiate a return, please follow these steps:

  2. Provide your order number and reason for return
  3. Receive a Return Authorization (RA) number
  4. Package the item securely in its original packaging
  5. Include the RA number on the return package
  6. Ship the item to the address provided by our customer service team

2.3 Return Shipping

Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the return is due to our error (wrong item shipped, defective product, etc.). In such cases, we will provide a prepaid return shipping label. Original shipping charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error.

3. Refund Policy

3.1 Refund Eligibility

Refunds will be issued in the following circumstances:

  • Products returned within the return period and meeting return conditions
  • Defective or damaged products received
  • Wrong items shipped
  • Orders cancelled before shipment
  • Duplicate charges or billing errors

3.2 Refund Processing

Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we will process your refund:

  • Refunds will be processed within 5-10 business days of receiving the returned item
  • Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used for the purchase
  • Processing time may vary depending on your payment provider (credit card, PayPal, etc.)
  • You will receive an email confirmation once the refund has been processed

3.3 Refund Amount

The refund amount will include:

  • Full purchase price of the returned item(s)
  • Original shipping charges (if return is due to our error)
  • Return shipping costs (if return is due to our error)

Note: Original shipping charges are non-refundable for customer-initiated returns unless the return is due to our error. Restocking fees may apply to certain items.

4. Non-Refundable Items

The following items are not eligible for return or refund:

  • Perishable food items that have been opened or consumed
  • Custom or personalized products
  • Digital products or downloadable content
  • Items damaged due to misuse or negligence
  • Items returned after the 7-day return period
  • Items without proof of purchase
  • Gift cards (unless required by law)

5. Exchanges

We currently do not offer direct exchanges. If you wish to exchange an item, please return the original item following our return process and place a new order for the desired item. We will process your refund for the returned item, and you can use those funds to purchase the replacement item.

6. Damaged or Defective Products

If you receive a damaged or defective product, please contact us immediately:

  • Contact us within 48 hours of delivery
  • Provide photos of the damaged or defective item
  • Include your order number and description of the issue
  • We will arrange for a replacement or full refund, including return shipping costs

7. Cancellation Policy

7.1 Order Cancellation

You may cancel your order under the following conditions:

  • Orders can be cancelled within 24 hours of placement for a full refund
  • Orders that have already been shipped cannot be cancelled

7.2 Subscription Cancellation

If you have a subscription service, you may cancel at any time. Cancellation will take effect at the end of your current billing cycle. You will continue to receive services until the end of the paid period. No refunds will be issued for the remaining subscription period unless required by law.

8. Gift Returns

Items purchased as gifts may be returned within 7 days of delivery. Gift returns will be refunded as store credit or to the original payment method, depending on the circumstances. The gift recipient should contact our customer service team with the order number to initiate a return.

9. Late or Missing Refunds

If you haven't received your refund within the expected timeframe, please:

  • Check your bank account or credit card statement
  • Contact your bank or credit card company (processing may take additional time)
  • Contact us at support@terraeats.com with your order number
  • We will investigate and resolve the issue promptly

10. Restocking Fees

Some items may be subject to a restocking fee of up to 20% of the item's purchase price. This fee applies to items that are returned in opened or used condition, or items that require special handling. You will be notified of any restocking fees before processing your return.

11. International Returns

International returns are subject to additional terms and conditions. Customers are responsible for all customs duties, taxes, and return shipping costs. Please contact our customer service team before initiating an international return to understand the specific requirements and costs.
